I love this photograph. The range of B&W tones is very wide and, of course, the grainy film adds a moody atmmosphere to the whole image.
Very nice portrait with an adequate shallow DOF allowing only to slightly perceive the geisha in a second layer. Well done.

i love this! i love how you were able to get right in front of her. i know in color this must have had beautiful colors, but black and white really works well.

A nice capture and a good choice for b/w. I just wish you had moved to the right a touch though so as to include the second geisha over her left shoulder. The focus is also a little soft. Still, a nice pic!

A great photograph, however the focus is quite soft (was this intentional?) and a little to much contrast (some bright spots, particularily on the first maiko's face, collar and hands) I agree this looks fantastic in black and white, very nice.
