Photographer’s Note
This is a temple in Kyoto that honors all of the soldiers who died in WWII. It was a serene getaway in the middle of bustling Kyoto. While nearby sights were swarmed with tourists, for some reason my wife and I were some of only a handful of people visiting this shrine. It made for a peaceful and memorable moment.
