Hanami viewing is one of the most looked to event in Japan. When the cherry blossoms, the Japanese rushes to the best places and have a drink under the beautiful trees.
As most of the young have a cellphone with integrated digital camera, capturing the moment to share with friends is a big thing. Unfortunately, the camera-cellphone combo still have a long way to go performance-wise.
One man loss is another man gains. They seems to missed their shot and I got mine :)

Nice shot! Love the facial expression you managed to capture. Very nicely done. What? Colors flat? Bad composition? No way, this is good, very good.

This photo (and description) just made me laugh. Thanks!
Good job catching them, not too busy a surroundings, but enough other info to show us where they are (the blurred flowers on the trees, the guy with PushButtonDummy camera). Expression on the one lady is very funny.

Wonderful shot. You have get perfectly the image of photo religion from japanese people. Perfect expressions in faces, good composition, nice background with blurred famous cherry blossoms... The unique thing not good is the back of that other person, but of course, is not possible to control everything in this type of picture. You have made a fantastic instant shot.

Great capture. I like the topic of 'photography' in a photograph. I like the expressions on the ladies' faces, very visible thanks to the sharpness. The one on the right looks doubtful, maybe she's realised these pseudo cameras are no good. And the blurred man in the background is a repeat of the topic...

Very funny capture. Expressions (specially one) are really self-explanatory! Everything works in a good framing and nice soft colors. You could have taken the guy behind looking at his one just after, probably with the same expression!

Most attractive are the girls expressions. You got the skin so smooth! Wonderful.
I suppose you couldn't send that guy away?
(These people, always making pictures when you are busy yourself, very ennoying, isn't it? ;-)

as viviane wrote :"Most attractive are the girls expressions" I do agree with him. but in my opinion there isn't anything special in this picture. just 2 girls taking pictures with a cellphone.. (maybe b&w) would have make this more interesting.or maybe it's just me cause u already got 12 points ...

Nice shot. I had been hoping to capture a picture of people using their cell phones as cameras last week in Japan and I never got one.
