Photographer's Note
A Maiko in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan.
I have been to Kyoto many times during past 10 years, but finally came across a maiko-san there, when my camera was ready too.
The word Maiko literally translates to "dancing child" (mai = dance, ko = child). A Maiko is an apprentice Geisha who must undergo few years of training, where she learns the various arts such as dancing, singing, music etc before she becomes a Geisha.

Hi Shailesh
A gorgeous image of a maiko with beautiful colours, I've heard that there aren't many geisha left and also less girls are turning to the art of being a geisha.
Just a small criticism like the other people, the sharpness of the maiko's face isn't as sharp as it could be.

A beautiful Maiko, with a brilliantly cheery expression on her face. Well captured!
Unfortunately the focus is a bit soft, so I suggest sharpening the image.
Also, you have cropped out a portion of her head, so the framing is not good.
A very good effort, though, let down by some errors.
If you have an uncropped version, or a photo with the whole head, then I would like to see it. :) Also, better focus... but that can be fixed by sharpening the image in editing.
Regards,
Richard
