This was back at Takaosanguchi. The leaves of Autumn or Koyo as they are called in Japan, are just starting to show up there.
I took this picture while looking straight up into a tree and zooming my FujiFilm S5000 to its max. It came out quite well and I thought the colours looked quite good. I was a bit disappointed during the post though because I think some of the quality was lost with the resizing that I had to do to be able to upload it.

Beautiful photo, Dinyar - the pallette of autumn colors is spectacular to say the least, and I also like your use of DOF here with the in-focus foreground layer, and the softer and more colorful array of foliage in the back. A very nice seasonal contribution.

Simple, mais efficace, flatteur pour le regard, peut-Ítre une approche assez personnelle de l'utilisation de la profondeur de champ.

Very fine graphics and colurs you captured here - I like the fine details of the leafes and the mix of colours you spotted - thanks Dinyar.

Unfortunately, the leaves that are in focus are the ones drying up! It would have been better to look for leaves that were still in full "health", showing their vibrant red colors.
