Photographer's Note
I want to go to India anxiously but no time to do so.
So I have to compromise to go to Indian event in Japan.
I took her for the West Indian dance festival. Can you find which is she a Japanese or an Indian? She is a pure Japanese but alerady study Indian dances for 20 years. But I want to see original dance by an Indian in India. I do not know when I can do---.

Hello Takero,
the colors of the outfit are greatly highlighted by the black background. Nice contrast and well captured still pose - she looks like a statue. An interesting mix of cultures by the way :-)
All the best

Hello Takero
As a matter of fact the japanese look dancing the bharatanatyam
I had the privilege to attend a lesson of this classical dance by an old lady very famous teaching to young woman, who had already learnt this art for almost 10 years
I can tell you that this was a very tough and physical exercise and after some time they started to give up, one after the other, totally exhausted
This was a splendid hour for me
Go to Chennai and try to see an exhibition there
Best regards

Hello Takero,
This is a very nice picture of a particular Indian dancing style expressed by the danseuse. The best part is the facial expression that you captured so well. There are many Japanese students in Shantiniketan in West Bengal, in the university set up by the great poet and nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore.
Compliments,
Ranjan

Ciao Takero
non ha nessuna importanza se è Giapponese o Indiana, l'importante è la bellezza, quella dello sguardo e del movimento.
Uno dei tuoi splendidi ritratti in costume, dalle luci e dai colori dolci.
Saluti

Hello, Takero! What a bright artistic shot - she appears incredibly vibrant, and despite the glaring light there's no overexposure here. Just a perfect sense of stage lighting with a great dark background, blurred to perfection. Great color and as usual an outstanding expression captured. Beautifully done.

Hello Takero,
My wife and I are also dancers, but not this type, alone Latin an Balroom dances, but we become a little bit old!
It's lovely portrait a little overexposure on the face, but not immediate disturbing.
Sharpness and clarity are very nice.
Your composition and colors make these picture very attractive.
Great presentation, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.
