Admiring the view from the Sumida-gawa Water Bus, as it makes its way across Tokyo Bay to Odaiba.
I do not know what those two buildings are, but the bride in front of them is Rainbow Bridge.
You can see the different levels of the bridge. The lowest level is where the Monorail runs, and the road traffic moves along the top.
The view is mired slightly by Tokyo's smog. The horizon is grey, but the sky gets bluer the higher that you look. It was a beautiful sunny day, with not a cloud in the sky.
It was nice to stand and admire the architecture, while taking in the refreshing air and the breeze. The water was spectacular; it was a treat to travel by something other than train in Tokyo.
These two girls are also admiring the view. The girl in the white hat is looking at Rainbow Bridge and those two buildings. The younger girl in the white coat is spotting a photo opportunity - much like me.
I decided to experiment by adding a border using my software, rather than just adding a square to the image and making that a border. I didn't want to lose the crop that I had, so making a border this way kept the image as it is.

I didn't know they have a waterbus. I have read from some time ago that there is some kind of very hightech watertaxi in Tokyo Bay with a lot of glass. Do you know what I'm talking about and have you seen it? Very unusual view on the bridge, are we looking at the Odaiba side here? Were is it docking? Gilbert
