teenagers use to meet there on sunday mornings,dressed up like their manga heroes. a sub culture that is groing up more and more in a short time

Hi Ivan,

Dressing up in manga character-style seems to be big and some kind of sub-culture in Japan. You weren't too lucky here with the light, but it's okay. The thing I'm really missing here is a decent note on where you were, how you got to this compo and what these ladies are doing there dressed like that. And perhaps some camera settings. But it's an interesting sub-culture.

Oh Ivan... WELCOME TO HARAJUKU would have been a more appropriate title (or that would be my wish..). Technically nothing wrong, I like the tight composition, although their painted faces are a little on the blue-gray side, that does not concern me as much as the subject matter and their mentality.. If you had their story behind this fashion, it could have been a good reportage. -K.

Ok, this photo could have been a bit brighter, but this is such a fascinating photo, I don't care. I mean who are these girls? The one in the middle looks older than a girl. I can't help wondering where they have the time to get these costumes together and then hang out in them, I mean if this is a normal thing, it must practically be a life style. Thanks for sharing, it really challenges my view of Japanese teens.
