Photographer's Note

This cherry blossom or sakura reaches full bloom in early spring, vivid pink than usual cherry blossoms. Many people were appreciating the blossom at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden on a warm Sunday.
We can see a building like the Empire State Building in the background behind the blossom, which is the NTT DoCoMo Yoyogi Building 240 meters tall, contains mainly technical equipment (switching equipment, etc.) for NTT DoCoMo's cellular telephone service.

I took this shot at the bottom of the tree in the strong backlighting by using the ultra-wide-angle lens tilted upward, to include the shining pink, gracefully‐shaped branches, people enjoying and the city.

By the way cherry blossoms are family of the rose.
