Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken in the small park in Shinjuku. Here is an area where it is in the back hand of shopping quarter, is also called the Korean town, and is crowded with the Korean restaurant or general dealers. Although it was the time in front of noon, the old people who are visible to passing middle age in a park were sitting on benchi, and were chatting with the acquaintance. Probably, they are people who live around this. While the well-groomed old man who wore the red cardigan of the photograph also stood without carrying out what, he was chatting with the acquaintance in entrance of the park. For people who pass over retirement age and are being embarrassed with time, the only relaxation may come to a park and may kill time. I feel that the whole surface of the life style of old age was seen. It was one fine day.
