In Shibuya, the shopping quarter centering on the terminal station in Yamanote Line as well as Ikebukuro or Shinjuku are formed. After Shibuya Parco opened in 1973, many young men came to gather, and it became the place of dispatch of fashion replaced with Shinjuku in 1975 and afterwards. Moreover, probably, it is one factor into which the train and subway of the Tokyu series having been extended into Shibuya Station, and carrying out also developed. When the terminal department store was made at the station, the residents of the Tokyu area along the railroad line through which it flowed into Ueno or the Ginza by the tram or bus via Shibuya came to do some shopping in Shibuya, and stored a success. It is in 1975 and afterwards that Shibuya which was only one terminal station in the suburbs will get the present status in its hands, and it became the foundation of development that SEIBU department stores and PARCO have marched out. Development competition of Tokyu and Seibu starts after it. Big movement of the place of dispatch of fashion of a young man's town, youth culture, etc. started, and the place of dispatch of fashion moved to Shibuya from Shinjuku in the 1970s. Now, Harajuku and Shibuya are the center of the youth culture on fashion relations. For an old person, here is visible to　the town which get tired by the reason of multicultural space and young men's numerousness although it's so active. I took this photograph in winter season.
