Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken in Yoyogi Park located in a metropolitan area in the early summer of four years ago. Although this park was an army ground in prewar, it became the occupation U.S. Forces facility and the Washington heights after the end of the war, and was used as Yoyogi athletes' dormitories by Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964. And then, it is redeveloped and opens as Yoyogi Park in 1967. The site in Yoyogi Park is the fourth largest park a metropolitan area with 540,529.00m2. A wide green lawn is in a site and it is loved all the year round as a place of a Tokyoite's rest. One woman was taking a nap pleasantly under trees, as if she avoid hot sunlight. It may be a cool water which forgets the bustle of a city for her.

(p.s.)
1. A mother and her child relax at the lawn: workshop
2. Young girls who enjoy the ball game at green lawn
