Photographer's Note

Here is the ginkgo tree roadside in Jingu Gaien here.
If this time comes every year, many people will visit to see the ginkgo trees dyed yellow at roadside. This ginkgo tree roadside has grown in 1923. It is chosen out of 1,600 were growing up within and without the tree height of 6m by a seedling's field of Meiji-jingu shrine in Yoyogi, and what has prepared the tree shape further every year is planted. Now, one hundred and forty six ginkgo trees are planted in 300m from the Aoyama mouth to a circumference road at intervals of 9 m. The age of a tree is said to be 100 years.
Since it was a chilly day of the weekday on that day, there was not crowded, but mainly old men/women were enjoying the ginkgo tree dyed yellow while walking along roadside. If it passes for a couple of weeks, a leaf will also fall and winter will come on by run.
