Photographer’s Note
a good idea of how densely packed Tokyo is with buildings. Here is the area known as Roppongi as seen from the top of Tokyo Tower. The tall building on the right is the 2 yr old Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, a state of the art office building/shopping center/residence/art musuem. A night there is a cool stereo equalizer that is displayed on the building. Asahi TV is also headquartered there.

Lovely smoky image of Tokyo. Very true to life of htis town and well captured.
Although dense, I think Manhattan looks much denser and more taller buildings. This is a good record, and I hope you can remember your settings and do the same shot 12 years later and compare. I tried something similar looking the other way (Shinbashi), and my original shot of Tokyo bay has an unbuilt Rainbow bridge and empty space that is now the amazing Shiodome sight.
