This is a slope called by "Kurayamizaka" gone up in the direction of Moto-Azabu 3-chome from Azabu-Jūban 2-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The origin of a name is said since trees grow thick, had covered and hung over the narrow slope so that it is dark even daytime also. A slope is a remarkable steep slope, and it is high cliff at right-hand side when seeing it from the bottom. In Moto-Azabu whole from which this slope had been risen, many high-class apartments and residence are seen in the leading residential street in a metropolitan area. On the other hand, there are many embassies, international school church around applying to South Azabu - Hiroo, so that we meet many foreigners very well.

This is a very nice view. It is so full of interesting details, and still the composition is very neatly built around the sloping street going diagonally across the view. In the central part the light falls beautifully on the woman and her daughter. In spite of the many things seen around them the light immediately draws my eyes straight up to those two persons.

I find the wooden road-sign as unique and attractive element on this street view photo.
Always intriguing to see some new and diff. details in another country.
Besides this - the pic. appear in fine clarity, light and shadows played on.
Enjoy a nice weekend,

Road signs is a topic for itself. In many countries the authorities are overdoing it, putting too many restriction signs on the road, confusing the road users.
Your country is most probably not different. It is funny to a sign advising bus drivers not to use road which is anyhow nor wide enough for their vehicle. Nice snapshot, well framed in portrait format. Well done.

A nice street scene from Tokyo. I see a "No Buses" sign; my thought is, "No kidding, I wouldn't want to drive a bus up a narrow, winding slope - I might end up with a few scratches and dents!"
Good shot, TFS.
