By reduction in a smoker, the tobacconists of a town have also decreased in number considerably. Tobacco is sold at the vending machine, the convenience store, a kiosk, a tobacconist, etc. in Japan. In a vending machine, if there is no card registered by the person aged 18 and over, purchase will be impossible. A long time ago, there are many such tobacconists and the storekeeper sold tobacco to the visitor. Into the public facility, the office, food mall, division into smoking and nonsmokiing areas is progressing now, and we can smoke only at the place on which it decided. Moreover, the station yard of the suburbs in the center of Tokyo and the Shinkansen(except JR-Tokai) are full prohibition of smoking. The rise of a price other than the campaign of damage which gives own health impairment and a non-smoking person is mentioned why smokers are decreasing in number. Now, in Japan, the price of tobacco is about 400 yen (5us$). The price was 300 yen (3.5us$) till several years before. From now on, the direction which goes up further is examined by the government. Amid the economic depression which continues for a long time, smokers will decrease in number increasingly.

The Japanese government's policy towards smokers, is good. I appreciate the existence of these vending machines that restrict smoking very young. I appreciate the uncompromising realism of the photo area and daily life. Excellent quality. Bravo.
Have a nice day

Hi Mikio. A very informative note and a photo which is direct and without embellishments, showing a typical street with wires, signs and shop. Best wishes. Klaudio.

Jolie composition urbaine, j'aime tous les détails de la rue.
