Photographer's Note

A HAPPY NEW YEAR to all TE friends!

In Japan, a Fox is believed to be a servant of the God and treated as an sacred animal from a long time ago. You can see sometimes stone statues of fox in front of shinto shrines in Japan. This area (one ward of Tokyo downtwon area) conducts the "Fox disgise procession" every new year's eve. Adults and children, both of two, make-up by face painting or taking the masuk, join this unique precession. They are member of small orchestra as players of Japanese traditional flute, accompanied with the procession.
