This photograph is taken in the Suda town in Tokyo Kanda. It is located in northeastern Chiyoda-ku and belongs to the Kanda area. Immediately after World War II, the roadside stand which sells electric parts including a vacuum tube has stood side by side, and it is a root of present Akihabara. While being surrounded by the building, some old buildings remain in one corner of this town. The left photograph is a dental clinic. This dental clinic was started around the present Kanda Suda town 1-1 before 1897. It was hit by the Great Kanto Earthquake and builtas a clinic and residencein 1928. The feature at the time of foundation has appeared in the appearance design of the front by signboard or a lozenge ornament etc. well in the building of three stories of one-panels structure seen at an earthquake disaster revival term. Now, this building is designated as national registered tangible cultural property. It is interesting in the point of understanding a historical backdrop that the character is flowing into the left from the right. If a central photograph is seen, the building of mortar structure built in the middle from the early stages of Showa is located in a line with the both sides of the quick-serving soba-noodle shop on a central angle. And, the restaurant with the architecture/facade of old japanese style is shown at right photograph. It is a restaurant which is pride about 180 years of history and makes Monkfish eaten.

These buidings may not be very, very old but they still represent a part of Japanese culture that is possibly disappearing. The three pictures show a collection of old style buildings with a pleasant atmosphere.

Interesting modernistic 20th century architecture collage, utilizing every space, and my favorite is the triangular building on the corner.

A fascinating combined shots and nice bit of nostalgia that brings back memories and history. Building is part of life where we live and belong I can remember many old buildings in my country in almost similar fashion to this picture, sadly gone knocked down in the name of modernisation. But i guess you are lucky to have this still intact and stand proudly, vivid in detail and colours that really jump out and it stands out in its own right but an effective eye catching image. Well done great shot, pictures of historical value. TFS, Congrats.
Have A great Tomorrow, Happy New Year
