Photographer’s Note
Strolling at Takeshita-dori street in Harajuku, I came across this group with original clothes of fluorescent colors, so then pressed quick the shutter button of the camera hanging around my neck without viewing the viewfinder.
Captured with the picture style: landscape, did not increase saturation, cropped the right side in photoshop.
Takeshita-dori Street is narrow and extremely crowded alley located directly across from Takeshita-dori exit of JR Harajuku Station in Tokyo.
There are many small boutiques including Goth-loli fashion, cafes, and restaurants, which numbers are 120 more over, and are very popular with young teenagers.

こんにちは Hisashi. Considering the impromptu way in which you were taking this, the result is quite good and rather typical for the unusual fashion displays that one can see in this street near Harajuku Station (I've also walked along this area a few times). The wide lens turned out to be a good choice to be able to capture the two girls at the left entering the scene. Fun and interesting capture.

Bonjour Hisachi,
une photo très spéciale avec de belles couleurs et des déformations déroutantes.
Have a great week-end.
Daniel.

Hi, Hisashi.
Considering the impromtu circumstances, the results you achieved are simply superb. Stunning array of sparkling colors and flamboyant atmosphere enhanced by the wide angle that makes me think of Federico Fellini's movies... Great effort, my friend. TFS! Have a nice weekend, I'll be seeing you.
Fulvio.

Hosaci,
Lovely picture, lots of colour, great image. I even like the way the left of the picture is distorted. For a quick tae it is excellent.
All the best

Hello Hisashi,
A photo of the bizarre taken in an improvised and unorderly way and with a lot of wide angle distortion that expresses a mood of "I don't care what you think", fitting for the scene.

Paul

Hello Hisashi,
I've also been to this street, I love the way these young girls dress up and parade together, they look fantastic.
A great shot, the wide angle has given this an interesting and creative look, very much a magazine shot.
Thinking back to when I was there, I remember being aware of the number of signs, shop names and merchandise all written in English, same too in your capture, the signs in the background are in English, weird eh!!!
Warm wishes
Peter

Hi Hisashi,
Wide angle gives a good impression of flow as these teenagers go by on their vibrantly colourful clothes. Cosplay is actually quite popular in Finland, and it's interesting to look at the people on their gatherings.

Hello Hisashi,
I have done the same thing recently, but my result wasn't as good as yours here. These kids have "Funkadelicacy", they all look like they are ready to attend a George Clinton concert! Great accidental composition and pov!
Thanks for sharing,
Reed

Interesting shot, Hisashi, very creative.
I wouldn't think about using wide angle to photograph people because it always causes deformation, but here actually the people are secondary and what counts are their clothes so it is a great idea. By coming so close you are filling the frame with colors and it is so full of life,
congratulations,
M
