Let's take a metro all together dressed in Santa Claus costumes, but they seem tired a little after walking for five hours.
Santa enthusiasts will gather at Shibuya in Tokyo on December 20 also this year.

Times must be tough if Sanat himself is taking to the subways :-), very funny scene, the motion movement against the standing people works well, with perfect colours and detail.

Hello Hisashi,

It is a real pleasure to discover your photos about how Christmas is lived in Tokyo.
This photo is full of life and movement with the girl moving the hand and the blur opf movement on the train.
The composition is good because allowing a good reading and separation between all those people dressed in Santa.
You should create a dedicated thema about your Santa serie.

Are you allowed to take photos in the subway in Tokyo?
In Paris it is forbidden (but we do anyway)

another great fun shot, Hisashi, I like a lot the contrast between cheerful colours of Santas' costumes and urban gray of the metro station. the short focal length create a good feeling of presence, as if I was among the crowd of Santas and dressed accordingly :) great shot, I like it.

Yes, reminds me of how *BIG* Christmas is in Japan. Indeed, many people decorated in Santa Claus outfits, like a fashion week :-) Here, you have shown this in a very dynamic and tight composition, well framed.

It looks like Japan has more Santa Claus and Xmas mood than elsewhere! Interesting post to show such a commercial concept has invaded Japan's traditional year end sales. But the costumes make a good subject for shooting.

Good combination of transport and christmas themes. I also like colourful and refreshingly original costumes of those girls. Also in Finland some teenagers take influence from Japan and dress like that every now and then.
