People who stare at the acrobatics, a photo from Tokyo, Kanto

Photographer's Note

Since it was fine, I was going to go to the observatory in Bunkyo Ward Office and to look at Mt. Fuji on that day. Unluckily, the sky is covered with clouds and Mt. Fuji was not able to be seen. I was here about 30 minutes and dropped in at Korakuen Amusement Park when leaving. Here, it is many play facilities, such as a roller coaster, a merry-go-round, and a Ferris wheel etc. Inside a garden was very crowded focusing on the family companion probably because of the holiday on Sunday today. When leaving, many people had gathered in the courtyard inside the amusement park while returning to metro station. The acrobatics of the monkey was done when seen from the passage of the second floor what happen. The crowd of twofold and threefold was made in the circumference at focusing on the child. The monkey was manipulated by the acrobat and had announced performance of ball riding, a handstand, etc. The street performance of a monkey may sometimes be seen to the precincts of a shrine or a temple, and the courtyard of such amusement facilities. Even so, it seems that a small child likes to a monkey very much　from old times.

Hello Mikio,
I enjoy watching the faces and clothes of all these people looking at the monkey doing its balancing act. It's a fascinating crowd, the sharpness is perfect and the conversion to B&W is very well done. The only slight drawback is that the monkey is not in focus and is a bit difficult to distinguish.
It is better seen in the workshop, which is also a very good and interesting photo.

An engaging scene nicely caught candidly great that you keep this viewpoint absolutely straight compressed perspective and simple, retaining some distance and detachment. The expression on the crowd in particular the children' s faces is left entirely to the imagination totally mesmerised by performance of the cute animal. This works well in mono too as the enthralled front row children create more attention than the rest. Timely shot at perfect moment and love the tone and light with all the context detail. Well done, Congrats
