Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken from the promenade in Sumida River. It was cloudy day unluckily on that day.
Sumida River is the in full length 23.5 km which branches from Arakawa at the new Iwabuchi sluice in Kita-ku, and first-grade riverwith which it fills Tokyo Bay. And, it is a typical river which flows through the Tokyo downtown area. Further, twenty seven bridges are located on this river and the opposite shore is connected to it. Now, although a river passes also through the transport ship for a load, the water-bus for sightseeing mainly operates around it on the basis of Asakusa. The iron bridge which appears to the front is a bridge in which Tobu Railway is running in the direction of Nikko.
