The weight of a Portabel shrine ("mikoshi" in Japanese) is 1 ton to 3 tons, so usually carried by 50~100 person. The density of the cariiers is so high, they are very close each other sometimes like packed. Old and youg, lady and gentleman are all mixed basically.

Hello dear Takero,
great shot, four different expressions in one image, so different but united in the same spot! The light, the sharpness and the quality are really superb.

Hello Takero, Great shot, such interesting expressions on all of their faces. Your shot captures the effort that these four are undergoing as they carry and support the Shrine. In fact, looking at them makes me feel tired and exhausted. Ha Ha. Wonderful job. Have a nice Sunday. Regards, Roger

So interesting and beautiful face expressions!
They are not posing for you, that's for sure and that's what's most appealing in this photograph!
Sharpness, exposure, natural colors, horizontal format and composition are great!
TFS - congratulations!
Have a great sunday!
