your pictures of Japan's festivals and tradition are fantastic, the colors and sharpness are perfect. The useful notes help foreign people like me to try to understand more of the Japan culture.
Thanks for sharing.

For European eyes a truly uncommon sight. This face really has been "transferred" into a mask. This nearly isn't a young girl any longer - she's an artwork!
The all-over quality of your photo is perfect and most impressive. A contribution in terms of TE!
Greetings from Germany!

in this makeup the girl seems rather anxious or thoughtful, as if she is trying to preserve a serious expression on her face... :)
VERY interesting photo again! excellent POV and well composed.

Hello Takero, Once again you have shown your viewers a delightful picture of the folkways and culture of Japan. This is a lovely young lady all dressed up in this colorful kimono and with her hair arrangement and head cover looking so exotic. Wonderful capture. TY for the post. Regards, Roger

That's a majestic portrait! The charm is equal to the mystery and the explosion of colors is a pleasure for the eye. The sharpness is excellent. That's a great entry on an atypical subject! Excellent work! Congratulations
PS: You probably noticed that I have removed my picture posted yesterday. I prefer to present this one in B& W of the same dancer, which I hope, is much more efficient in quality. Both pictures were too close in composition, so I had to chose to keep only one, that's why I removed the one presented yesterday. But thank you very much for your kind critic.

Such a kid already being 'baptised' into being an Oiran! Wonderful kimono she's wearing. Her face makeup is quite strong yet her eyes do not seem to be very happy. A fine portrait with fine use of shallow DOF
