Photographer’s Note

Why SANBA in Japan? I cannot explain the reason clearly, but SAMBA carnivals have now become one of the most famous seasonal event of summer in Japan.
I suppose at least 10 carnivals held only in Tokyo area. Among 10 carnivals I visited 4 places and I met her 3 times in 4 places. When I met her at first time, I confess that my heart is stolen her and then I hoped and actually could meet her 2 times more at different places fortunately. I do not know she could remember me maybe not. Surely I was a mere one photographer of thousands as her. But as me her existence was special. That is one side love story of this last summer as me, the bitter and painful tastes. I hope to see her again another summer samba festival next year.

A nice portrait of this young beautiful lady! The contrast between her skin tone and her costume is great. Thats the way the summer is, it passes and leaves the "summer" memories behind...

this is a very good portrait of a beautiful girl who is part of a happy event conveying a happy atmosphere.
And at the same time, judging by your Note, this photo has a very personal touch as it also conveys part of your feelings.
I like such photos, and, perhaps, the best photos are always those photos which "steal" part of our soul?
