Photographer’s Note
Why SANBA in Japan? I cannot explain the reason clearly, but SAMBA carnivals have now become one of the most famous seasonal event of summer in Japan.
Above all, ASAKUSA SAMBA carnival is the most famous and crowded one, the number of audiences are around 500 thousands. She is a pure Japanese girl just for your reference.

Hi Takero!
Another attractive shot from this serie. The bright colors immediately capture the attention, the purple and orange are a so good matching! Good sharpness and an excellent timing to catch from front her expression of exultation. Well done!

Hi Takero,
I guess that shooting festivals and parades is all about capturing the fun and excitement. You've done it perfectly here with your subject in full regalia, communicating the feeling of celebration that is going on.
What I like most about your shot, other than the great expression, is that you have brilliantly fill the frame with your subject (with a little help from your cloning tools... ;-P)
Energizing photo!

Hello Takero
Ta série sur le carnaval au Japon n'a rien à envier au carnaval de Rio. Les couleurs et la gaieté sont rendez vous.
Cordialement.

good evening takero,
I was away for a couple of days and now I don't know which photo to start from... =)
I am always amazed by people who can bring out the colours from their files the way colours deserve to be displayed - many confuse colour depth with saturation and "pump" their images in a way that it's not natural. but in your photos I find wonderful chromaticity without exaggeration; surely thanks also to your camera, but I am convinced you do a great job.
you have excellent timing in capturing facial expressions - and that is also something not everybody can come up with.

Kawabata San,
Ha...what a colour & expression! You crop just makes this a colourful wrapper for the women & brings the expression sharply!
Very well executed.
Thanks,
Prem.
