Hello Miyazaki,
the scene looks like a different world full of strange trees and atmosphere. Little by little you step into it, starting with the bright warm foreground, then a few steps into the semi-hazy sunlit area, and finally you disappear in the bluish-pink fog...
Well, about the tree (which was mentioned in the pprevious comment), I would agree with this opinion.
