Photographer's Note

This is my 100th shot from Japan and it is from the beginning of my stay there. I went backwards as I didn't want to omit this shot.

I thought I had somehow lost this image as it wasn't transferred from my memory card into my documents file from which I select my photos for Photoshop. I went searching for this one and a few of its brethren that were also missing. I found then inside the memory card and I am puzzled why six photos were not transferred with hundreds of others into my documents.

Anyway, here it is- a small township by the shores of Lake Chuzenji nestling between the mountain and the lake.

One of my earliest shots in which the exposure time stretched to 15 seconds, something I don't achieve often as I usually do not carry a tripod and normally depend on some structure to offer support for the camera.
