After our typical Japanese breakfast (see Workshop),we were keen to see the lake in its morning mood. Already small fishing boats were dotting the lake as the locals and some tourists were keenly trying to catch the local small fish on this last day before the fishing season closed.
The photo was taken from the shore which the sun's rays had not yet reached.
Lake Chuzenji (Chuzenjiko) is a scenic lake in the mountains above the town of Nikko. It is located at the foot of Mount Nantai, Nikko's sacred volcano, whose eruption blocked the valley below, thereby creating Lake Chuzenji about 20,000 years ago.

The beauty of simplicity... the depth of feeling to be simple.
The pleasure to see every new scenery nature presents us afresh, "...like the first morning". I think every morning is the first morning if we have eyes to see and a open spirit.
Every new perception "breaks" the continuity of time. Creation happens in every moment, a tree branch, the stillness of the water, the distant and misty mountains, all is happening now in front of our eyes.

I echo Donato's sentiments. It's quite exquisite the way we view the sunlit mountains between the pebbles and the foliage. Looks like you must have had mountains behind you too, as they prevented the illumination of the boats as well as the shore and the tree. Very still and very delicate, and a very pleasing panoramic crop.

This is a beautiful scene Klaudio, well captured. Lovely soft colours, well framed, made the most of the hanging branch, this is the type of picture I would expect to see on a canvas on your easel. No toast or corn flakes, what kind of breakfast is that?

This composition is as delicate and neat as a plate of sashimi. The branch of a tree against the blue sky, the boats spread out across the lake at equal distances, the narrow strip of rocky shore, the bare mountains in the yellowish haze. Very serene, very poetic.
Oh, I wrote this before looking at your breakfast. Seeing that, I stand by my words, even if you didn't have sashimi that morning.

Beautiful place, excellent landscape photography! Great POV, framing and composition, flawless light management, and beautiful "soft" colours! Great daily life scene, too, with those people taking a tour in the lake!

Nicely done. The shoreline is in darkness and provides a little weight to the image and is complimented by the tree branch which breaks up the sky. Catching the three fish boats added focal interest to the shot.

A lovely scene and a very fine presentation of it. Beautiful early morning light and delicate colours. The atmosphere is wonderful and your photo transmits it in a superb way. A pleasant composition as well. A joy to view!

Pozdrav iz Cuprije koja je zatrpana snegom.
Slazem se sa vama, treba dati mesto vidjenju umetnika.
Japan zemlja izlazeceg sunca, trenirao sam dugo judo i upoznao kulturu ove lepe zemlje. Pravi trenutak snimka, dobar motiv uokviren obalom i granom, dobre boje , postignuta dubina i ostrina. Fotografija koja pruza zadovoljstvo pogledu.
Imajte lepe dane i uspeh u radu, zeli vam Paja.
Greetings from Cuprija which is covered in snow.
I agree with you, should be given a place of artists vision.
Japan the land of the Rising Sun, I trained judo for a long time and introduced the culture of this beautiful country. The real time recording, a good theme framed the coast and branches, good color, achieved depth and severity. Photography that offers the pleasure aspect.
Have nice days and success in work, he wants you Paja.
