Photographer's Note
This is from one secne in a Rugby football game.
Of course an intentional puncing is a penalty, presenting yellow card. But this time I think this is an accidental deed. But he seems to get eough ache.
When we see a game on TV or in the stadium as usual, we never notice these secnes but when we take shoots, we can see these kinds of interesting secnes like these.

Hi Takero, I like so much your sports reportage. I wouldn't go to see the match, I am not interested in it, but the scenes like this with such strong emotions are fascinating. lately on TV the operators are often good and show also excellent close ups. I saw it during the last euro 2012 in Poland.
Best regards from Warsaw, cold and unpleasant

Ciao Takero
due grandi colpi, quello dell'atleta ed il tuo.
Situazione non facile, ma il risultato è fantastico.
Oltre alla dinamica sportiva, i molti colori attirano l'attenzione, formando un'unica immagine piena di azione e fascino.
Saluti

Hi Takero
tell me, did you shot at 5 iamges per second to get this stunning picture, and then look for the better picture.
We feel the movement and the hardness of this game.
Cheers

Hello Takero,
perfect title for your photo :-) I makes me wince just to look at it. Very well captured moment and emotions and the facial expression. Lovely composition which is truly difficult in sport - since the people are in constant movement. Nicely balanced colors and good DOF.
Well done my friend!
Warm regards

Hello
I see that Rugby is a very violent sport, from what I have heard very popular in Japan, but not in Poland. We are here to watch more football, but without the success of our team. There are too many scandals with selling of matches and corruption among Arbiters , but maybe one day will be better.
A wonderful expressive reportage photograph taken in excellent quality.

Hello Takero,
The title is very well chosen. This picture just screams "Ouch" loud and clear. In a way your pictures from the festivals are often better and more beautiful, very well composed, but your photos of tough sports are sometimes more fun to watch. You are very good at capturing these really decisive moments. There is a lot of action and colours in this superb sports photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Takero
Like you say, these kind of images really bring home the scenes that we miss on live tv, and it's always great to see the detail like this. A perfect name for the image too, ouch is exactly what springs to mind when I se this shot.
Thanks for sharing, and have a great weekend.
Best wishes from icy Ireland.

Hello Takero,
This is a great action shot! I am sure the man who was accidentally hit in the face was sore afterward. The image is so sharp and colorful, and it captures the physical aspect of rugby perfectly.

Hello dear Takero,
A great sharp sports shot- quite a deviation form your trademark festivals. This one reminds me of a photo from a boxing match I saw where the distortion as the athletes face was punched gave the effect his face was made of some mouldable plasticine- bizarre- and you quite rightly mentioned we see these things at such speed that we don't ever register the details. Congratulations on a very effective rugby shot
Have a great week

Another of your fantastic rugby shots, Takero, this one captured at exactly the right moment as the punch connects. You're right, I think, that it was accidental - punching someone with your fist unclenched like that is likely to get you a broken hand or finger! It does, however, make for a great central image in this dynamic shot, where we've got much movement in several directions, all of it pulled together by that contact.
Great bright colors and ideal DOF as always!

Hello dear Takero,
so much action, effort, force and even pain in this tight frame. There's a strong sense of powerful movement although you have frozen the moment with perfect sharpness. The absolute blurriness of the background has isolated the four players from any other context and rendered the scene even more dramatic. Lighting and colours are excellent too. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely week,
Ourania

Hello dear Takero-san
I can almost feel his pain! His wincing face in this picture is a result of some super high speed photography! Brilliant execution...yo must have had takane a series of shots to show us this split second scene. Bravo indeed!
Best regards Takero-san
