Photographer’s Note

Manga corner of the bookstore of my town.
Manga is japanese style comics.
In this bookstore, there is a manga about five times this amount.

Japanese people often reads a manga.　The person who has hundreds of cartoons is not unusual either, like me.

Manga is really various, not only for chidren.
love story, war, fantasy, daily life of office worker, gourmet, history, chess, sports, porn, thriller...

by the way, photograph is not allowed in almost shop of Japan :P

Great shot Yuo

Taking a photo in a shop where it’s not allowed that is a good trick, but taking a photo of an empty manga shop that is almost impossible. Usually you can’t even walk through.

Hello Yuo,

I am just discovering this photo on your gallery. As European manga reader I find this photo quite unusual regarding the choice evidenced here. It is much smaller in France.
Nice composition, in deepness putting in evidence the numbers of title possible.
