This photograph is taken in Miyagawa-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama on the way we go toward Kannai from Hinode-cho Station. So, I found this unique building. In order to make the rows of houses as beautifully with Tokyo Olympic Games holding in 1964, it was built Miyakobashi shopping center that stored and unified scattered stalls in this area. It is loved also by the nickname of the "harmonica alley" in the bar town of the row-house style built along with the loose curve of the Ōoka River from the Miyagawa bridge to the Miyako bridge. Noge is the longtime shopping quarter in Yokohama. Speaking of a shopping center, we imagine the scenery of the shop, such as the greengrocery or butcher etc. But, here differs in effect with such an air. Miyakobashi shopping center is a two-story restaurant building now. The space of one shop is only six mats (10m2). At the beginning, this shopping center is depend as that the first floor portion was permitted only retail shops. However, releasing also its binding, most of 60 shops is restaurants nowadays. Because no less than 50 year has passed since establishment, the appearance has been superannuated fairly.

nice the view of the 'curved' building as is the eye caching for someone who watch everything around him.The lot of signs with Japanese make the image more effective and interesting,as add depth and perspective in the scene.

Signs in Japanees posted in juxtaposition, mikio, and ae an attractive element to look on the photo.
can't read most of them, but since you mentioned this is a shopping area and bars, it is possible to connect with.
The car added a fine dynamic scale on.
Superb clear image.

I like the curvature of the building and how so many other things in the photo follow that curvature: The street, the awnings, the signs. The POV is very fine, too.

Vibrant color tones with high sharpness in this street shot. Excellent light management. Well done.
