This picture was taken in a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Japan.
This scene of a meditating woman was very special. I could feel her inner peace and it was like the time stopped for a while.
I was concerned about breaking her concentration and hesitated to take a picture. Finally I took only this shot. I am quite happy with it, so decided to share it.

Hello Irina - This is a beautiful understated shot with lovely natural light. Just enough detail in the dark areas to give a sense of "place". The main focus is on the woman and in particular her white garments and that underlines her activity. Lovely. Best regards Rosemary

This shot depicted very well spirit of Zen, i think. The wide space around the meditator makes us feel silence and calm, and the choice of the exposure that touches spirit of zen is superb.
Best wishes, Hisashi

The tranquility is overwhelming in this image, with the Japanese knack for order and minimalism coming through clearly. You have composed and exposed the photo masterfully.

Definitely not an easy shot but you've been quite successful in the management of light. very impressed by the high light parts, window and door, not at all burnt
Nice rendition of the woman in the twilight and a very moody shot, very delicate and intimate
Have a nice day
