This mask is frequently used in the festivals and traditional occasions in Japan. The Japanese name is "OKAME", it is very difficult to translate to English, but it may be a "flat-faced woman". It is major a role in comedy. They will perform on the balcony on the festival float soon.

this pic is quite different from all your previous posts: there's a subtle game of focus which let us see only the central mask in focus, as it was a human face. I find it dynamic, also: it could be the same mask in three different positions. Good work
