Photographer's Note

This is a site of the Sanrizuka commemoration park near Narita Airport. It is the Imperial Stock Farm memorial hall that is back visible. This was the farm and pasture in Japan which produces the agricultural products which the start of Meiji Era is established and are used in the Imperial Household. It is consistent from the beginning and organic farming is performed. The Imperial Stock Farm began production of horse riding for the Imperial Households, produced breeding management of various livestock and domestic fowls, milk, meat, an egg of the Imperial Household and guests for inside-and-outside guest, and was used also as a place of diplomatic corps's in Japan treatment. The pasture relocated to Takanezawamachi, Shioya-gun, Tochigi-ken in connection with the Narita International Airport building program in 1969 now. And the part is opened wide by citizens as a commemoration park. Fallen leaves spread in the site so that deepening of autumn might be shown, and in front of the memorial hall, the small children by whom it was accompanied to the mother were picking up fallen-leaves.
