Now girls group take a rest inside shrine. They usually take "A Japanese traditional Sandle" (Zouri). There are many types and colors among "Zouri". But at the festival, they take this type, color and shape. This is tradition. They take off and palce in good order like this. I am very happy that they are well educated and have good moral. Because I have one daughter and am a father.

bella idea, complimenti, una linea colorata formata da oggetti di uso comune.
Molto piacevole anche la disposizione non troppo precisa che rende la linea movimentata.

The japanese people is known for its traditions and for the way they, proudly, keep them. Something I applaud!
This simple photo, is just a tiny example of the way traditions are respected, same models of sandals, with very tiny variations, but most important, they are all kept outside and aligned.
I just hope the way you (japanese) keep your traditions and respect them never changes, this is maybe your most precious treasure, your most stronger link to a glorious and beautiful past.

Simple but powerful composition! Somehow I look at this as a good symbol of the Japanese culture. I like your pov and good use of the dof with nice details. Very well done, tfs.

I like this row of 'zouri' - with a couple of them going outside the straight line, which adds some sort of charm to the picture :)
I also like it that the focus is not on the front but in the middle :)
my best wishes to your daughter!

An excellent shot and very well seen. I like this original close-up. I agree with other that the focus in the middle is very good. Cropping the photo at the bottom to have the focus in the foreground would not have been an equally good. Also very attractive colours. TFS and have a nice day!

A very lovely capture. The rich red colour against the neutral flooring, the interesting POV and the added interest in the pair of zouri in the middle are all very effective.
I like the structure, order and tadition you have managed to capture in one simple shot

Namaskar dear Takero,
A sharp focus on the 3rd pair of sandals and the rest blurred. They are neatly arranged outside the shrine. I like this practice of leaving them out so dirt is not dragged inside. Excellent colors and high quality.

A simple composition but a brilliant idea. The result is a very catchy and attractive picture which also tells us something about Japanese culture.

Hello my friend,
This is simply cute!
Girls are at rest,zouri too...
I can see that two of the pairs are "customized";one with blue (ear?) pearls, another with red&white braids...which reminds us that people are vever as "standardized" than we expect, fortunately!
Best regards Takero,

Bon format verticale pour accentuer la perspective des tongs, toujours la couleur rouge, signe d'amour, de gaieté et d'attirance, belle réalisation

Original and amazing shot, Takero. Just a fresh idea for the festival presentations here. It reminds me my photo of the shoes in a buddhist temple in Bangkok.
Fine composition and very nice colours.
