A Buddha and a devotee (rakan) tucked into the side of a cliff in the Nihonji temple complex.
I used a contast mask to brighten up the Buddha figure.

i really like the face of the buddha, aged, weathered. it fits well in its environment. it's a well composed shot too, i like the rakan's position. well done.

The large Buddha in the background almot looks as though it's looking down on, and watching the smaller rakan in the forground!
