Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken while going to the Chitose airport from Yūbari by train. When I was looking at the outer scene from the train window, I saw that there was a large land in character with Hokkaido. I had a load and got off in a hurry at Higashi-Oiwake Station. There is no private house in the circumference of a station in an unmanned station, and only the land spreads out. Losing one's way, I found the crossing somehow and came out to the counter direction of the station. In the distance, the colony of the grove could be seen. The pastoral scene has spread this whole place in the perfect agricultural area. When I came out to the way along which a car passes, the farmhouse/barns and the wood dyed autumnal tints were visible beyond farmland with the ups and downs which finished harvest. I walked and went in the direction of Oiwake Station, looking sideways at the scene.
