This is Kurodake in SouUnKyou, Hokkaido. Kurodake means "Black Mountain" and SouUnKyou means "Layered Cloud Canyon". There were certainly layers of clouds on the day we visited. The peak poked out of the clouds a couple of times while we were there. I liked this photo the most out of the ones I took as it reminds me of the ink paintings you often see on Japanese scroll paintings (Kakejiku).

very beautiful photograph I particularly like the fog which erases the landscape gradually

You couldn't ask for much more from this shot. It evidentally pleases you and it seems that we all agree. I wish I could see just a "tiny bit" more of the mountain- "tiny" being the key word. Excellent.
