Photographer’s Note
Hiragishi Tenjin won 2008 Yosakoi Soran Festival in Sapporo. This dance festival began with only 5 groups from Hokkaido University 18 years ago, now brings over 2 million spectators from all over Japan and abroad, economical merit is said to be over 250 million Dollars US. This is second important event after Sapporo Snow Festival in February. It will be the 60th snow festival in 2009.
