Nice capture Norbert,

The reflections looks amazing. The swan adds a sweet lonliness to the scene, almost feels like Hans Christian Anderson's ugly duckling.

Hi, Norbert. The cherry trees really seem to catch all the light in your picture. They contrast well with the overall green tones of the rest of the composition. The reflections on the nearly still water are interesting too and the light management is very good.

Oh! You've been back to Japan. The cherry blosson time in Japan must be beautiful to see in reality. here we have it two-fold with the reflections in the water. The addition of the swan is perfect. I wonder where his soul-mate is.

It's very difficult to depict the pale color of cherry blossom moreover to apply the amount of sharpness, however you have succeeded to render the "beautiful world" perfectly.
The song of Hikaru Utada, though i often listen it on the radio, i didn't know the title.

Occasional visitor mode? You're so funny! Norbert, you can't imagine how much I'm missing your shots. This is the perfect example of what differs your work from others. I would recognize your signature here without the 'nwoehnl' at the bottom of the thumbnail and not only because this shot is from Japan. You nailed it with your title that says it all. The swan at the left is the crwoning element of this composition.
