Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken from the summit of the mountain in Innoshima. The island which appears under its view in Setonaikai can be seen. If we ride on a ferry about about 40 minutes from the Onomichi harbor, we will arrive at this island. The ferry cruises so that it may passed through small islands on the way. Innoshima is a big island of area 33.73 km2 floating on Seto Inland Sea. In this island, there was a pirate called Murakami navy in Muromachi period(1336–1573)and Nanboku-chō period(1336–1392)once. Now, the main industry of this island is the agriculture such as a mandarin orange and the shipbuilding. When I was walking along the mountain path, the leaf was dyed red at some places. It gave the sign of autumn. Although I wandered around the island for about one hour on the way which returns to a harbor from mountain peak, now it is good recollections.
