Photographer’s Note
It took this image on the trip to Yamaguchi. I've visited there several times, but the rocks and the detail of the cave change a little. It's growing !
I took this image because it's the most popular spot to take a photo in the cave and my favorite view of this beautiful cave. Also I can enjoy nature's wonders.
It was so crowded on the day that I had to wait to take a place to take a photo and I couldn't use the tripod.
Akiyoshido is the largest cave system in Japan and is located under Akiyoshidai which is the largest karst formation in Japan. This unique karst landscape covers a total of 130 square kilometers and contains more than 300 caves. It took over 300,000 years to form and is still slowly being shaped by water flowing out of the karst plateau above. Only a small portion of the cave's estimated 420,000 cubic meters volume and 10 kilometer length is accessible to the public.

Beautiful! You can look at it and imagine that it is much larger scenery. From the thumbnail I thought this was a lake by some mountains, and those lights were from a city.
I've never heard of this place before. If its near Nagoya, then when I go there I should definately go to Akiyoshido too!
The colours are wonderful, and its well framed. Great photo, Tsutomu.
