Photographer’s Note

Went to an overnight camping trip near Takahasi River in Okayama Prefecture. I noticed these boats obviously abandoned to rot. Locked in its own time.

Very good composition Tam. Could be a bit darker for a B&W shot, but it is good like this too.

Great composition. Good framing. Great point of view. Brilliant use of black and white.
Black and white shows the boats are in stasis, frozen there for all time.

L' idée est bonne mais je regrette que la composition inclue ce premier plan de berge ; un cadrage plus serré aurait, de mon point vue, plus d' impact.

Good b/w, and nice framining. I am just uncomfortable with the leading line of the direction of the boat to be going in the middle with an empty space between the boat and the shore. It is still a very good subject and a very good photo.
