For the first day of spring. The black castle at Okayama is called the U-jo or Crow castle. This is in contrast to the more famous white castle of Himeji, 50km away. It was destroyed in WWII, this is a ferro-concrete reconstruction from 1966. PP: The castle was lightened, and a little red added to the cherry blossoms.

At first I thought that spring was early this year in Japan. But that I saw that it was april 2004. But nevertheless a beautiful picture.

A very colorful and detailed quality composition. Clear and very well sharpned. The perspective and enquadrement is also good. Well done!

A nice spring scene to frame Okayama castle. Those unsharpened branches on the right side are the only thing that disturbs me, but the rest is great. You are welcome to visit my Okayama album and others. Regards.
