Photographer's Note

For the first day of spring. The black castle at Okayama is called the U-jo or Crow castle. This is in contrast to the more famous white castle of Himeji, 50km away. It was destroyed in WWII, this is a ferro-concrete reconstruction from 1966. PP: The castle was lightened, and a little red added to the cherry blossoms.
