Photographer’s Note

This train is a limited express train "Super-Azusa" that runs in Chuo Main Line that connects Matsumoto from Shinjuku. It extends over Tokyo, Yamanashi, and Nagano Prefecture, the foot in the Alps passes, it comes off, and the distance of 230km will be connected in 2 and a half hours. The person who goes to the mountain climber and Mt. Fuji where it goes to Japan Alps uses this route well. This photograph is taking of the scene where do the go into a line of the train at Kobuchizawa Station of the evening on one's return in going to "Lake Matsubara" of Nagano Prefecture. It is in the mountain in South Alps that dimly sees backward.
By the way, this station has 881 meter above the sea, and has the route of The Koumi Line in the plateau railway that runs from Yatsugatake east foot to the Saku basin, and it's line runs above sea level the highest(1375m) in Japan(JR line).

(p.s.)
Chuo Main Line:
It runs between Tokyo and Nagoya via Matsumoto, although it is the slowest railway connection between the two cities, with the Tokaido Shinkansen being much faster.
