Photographer’s Note

Today early morning I went to Yamanakako (one of the 5 lakes around Mt.fuji) in Yamanashi Prefecture. There were 50-60 photographers, all set with their cameras to capture the beauty of Mt.Fuji at Sunrise. The temperature was -5C and we were lucky enough to have crisp clear sky with no clouds.

Beautiful light and magic reflection!
However, it seems the picture is not sharp enough...

Hi Abhijit, what a lovely calm scenary shot. I love the lighting, the reflection and the simplicity of the picture. It projects a still, quiet and serene place where all your troubles seem to go away when you stand there looking at Mt Fuji.

the coldness you spoke of gives a crisp looking picture. i agree that it is not sharp, but it looks like you were too far away. either way, it looks like a peaceful scene... even if you shared it with 50 or 60 others!

Great control of lighting, and gorgeous colours of the mountain. I agree it can be a bit sharper, but it's still a beautiful scene.

GORAYKOO - is what one is supposed to say when watching the sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji. Great shot. The morning sun's reflection on the snow is excellent just as well as the mountains reflection in the lake. Great composition and colours. Cheers
