Photographer’s Note
Taken from the Fuji Visitor Centre.
I searched 'Fuji Visitor Centre' in Google...

...and look what is the second result!

My photos from the Fuji Visitor Centre! ^__^
It is hard to believe that that would come up so high on the search engine.
This website has a photo showing the Fuji Visitor Centre itself, and a little bit of information.

I went to the Fuji Visitor Centre as a stop off on a one-day coach tour, on the way to Mount Fuji itself. It would be possible to get there yourself, of course, while on the way to or from Mount Fuji.
It is an interesting and nice place to stop off. It has toilets (good for when you have been on the road for hours), galleries, a restaurant, and a small souvenir shop.
I bought a handkerchief from there, with an old painting of Mount Fuji on it. It is too nice to actually use, so I think I will pin it up on my wall when I get to University. ^_^
I have adjusted levels and contrast, and have cropped and resized the original image.

Hi Richard,
Nice aura on Fuji. Did you do anything in PP?

Quite a nice outline of Fuji that you captured with the clouds. The long composition with the peak on the side works well.
BTW, there is no town called "Fuji Visitor Centre", probably you were actually in Fujikawaguchiko. ;)
