Akadake is in the Yatsu-ga-take mountain range in Yamanashi prefecture. I went down to Yamanashi with the intention of spending a few days in the South Alps national park, but due to a typhoon that decided to rub itself up against the southern flank of Honshuu, the roads into the South Alps were closed, and I had to find mountains elsewhere. Akadake was good, but it took a lot out of me near the top. And since I climbed on the tail end of a typhoon I didn't get to see any great views either.

Can't remember any of the specs related to this shot, but I'm sure I adjusted the levels a bit. No cropping though, I'm quite sure of that.
