Photographer’s Note

I took a day trip to the Fuji Five Lakes area in the hope of getting a good photo of the Fuj... This is the best I could do. Taken from the northern end of Saiko in the late afternoon.

I would have liked to selectively darken the top area to bring Mount Fuji out a bit more (although there were no almost clouds that day, the air had quite a haze), but picnik.com doesn't have that capability.

While the composition is super Charlotte, the placing of your little fisherboy in the foreground, I feel something has gone astray in the PP, you are losing some details and clarity here. But of course this is only my opinion I am sure others may disagree.

nice shot of fuji, ive seen a lot of fuji photo and this one i could say very unique, good job on making the fuji as your background it looks like that is is floating, the boy is well placed to the compositon as well.

A very well composed photograph with good use of the rule of the thirds (I think). I like how the boy is lit by sunlight and stands out from the background.

The upper tonality seems okay to me, only a bit noisy but it's okay. This is a carefully composed shot Charlotte, i like how you started it with a novice fishermen, a green mountain at the middle and end it with a Fuji delight. Nice shot.
